Introduction to hho kit hydrogen car kit
The HHO Kit, also known as the hydrogen car kit, is a car mounted electrolysis water device that uses the car battery/generator to supply power. It decomposes water into a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen (HHO, Brownian gas, H ₂: O ₂ ≈ 2:1), which is introduced into the engine intake manifold to assist in gasoline/diesel combustion. It claims to save fuel, reduce emissions, improve power, and remove carbon deposits.
Theory
Electrolysis to produce hydrogen and oxygen: The electrolytic cell (wet/dry) in the kit is filled with distilled water and electrolyte (potassium hydroxide KOH/sodium hydroxide NaOH). After being electrified, the water is decomposed into hydrogen and oxygen;
Intake assisted combustion: HHO gas enters the cylinder with air, and the hydrogen flame spreads quickly and burns fully, catalyzing complete combustion of fuel;
Claimed effect: Reduce unburned fuel, lower CO, HC, NO ₓ emissions, and clean up engine carbon deposits.
